Lesson 81

Writing Links in HTML

The lecture goes over making hyperlinks in HTML.

You learn how to create a link to another page or website using the anchor tag, whose abbreviation is simply the a tag.

You learn about attributes to provide further information to a tag. In the case of the anchor tag, you need to tell it where to go using the href attribute.

The lecture also teaches how to open the hyperlink in a new tab (traditionally a new window), using the target attribute with the value _blank.
