HTML, or Hypertext Markup Language, is the fundamental building block of the web. It's used to create and structure sections, paragraphs, and links on a webpage. Essentially, it tells your browser how to display text, images, and other elements to make a website. Think of it as the skeleton that gives every webpage its structure. Without HTML, the internet would just be a bunch of raw data with no way to visually organize it.2
